Is He Asking You To Follow Wherever He Leads

 Have you felt God pulling at your heartstrings in an attempt to get you to do something? Have you done what you felt comfortable doing instead of stepping out of your comfort zone and doing what God wants you to do? I’m certain we all have at one point in our walk with God. Some years ago God got me involved in Construction Ministry, then He put me in a very uncomfortable place of working with teens in construction ministry. After reluctantly spending one week with them, I knew this was where God wanted me. Since that time I go wherever He leads and minister as He provides.

As someone who took that reluctant step into a mission field which is little known I know the feelings of inadequacy which many Christians experience in their desire to serve but not knowing where they can. I also know the fears of "can I really make a difference?" I can answer that with a "Yes" one person can; didn’t Christ make a difference? And you can too when you follow wherever He leads.

You did not do anything to achieve your salvation, but you must do something to exhibit it. You must "work out your own salvation" which God has worked in you already ( Philippians 2:12 ). Are your speech, your thinking, and your emotions evidence that you are working it "out"? If you are still the same miserable, grouchy person, set on having your own way, then it is a lie to say that God has saved and sanctified you.
